NOVELTY - Curable composition comprises curable prepolymers is epoxy prepolymers and silicone prepolymers, and a curing rate modifier that increases a rate of crosslinking reactions between the curable prepolymers as compared to a comparative curable composition without the curing rate modifier, where the curing rate modifier does not cure the curable composition in the absence of a hardener present in the curable composition, a catalyst present in the curable composition and/or water. USE - Curable compositions used as a component of a paint, a sealant, or a composite (claimed). The curable compositions for use in a variety of environments, including the aerospace industry, the automobile industry, the submarine industry, the electronics industry, the construction industry, and the like. ADVANTAGE - The curable composition increases in curing rate provide an enormous benefit in increasing manufacturing rates and reducing manufacturing costs DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of using the curable composition, which involves applying heat to the curable composition to induce crosslinking reactions between curable prepolymers and convert the curable composition to a cured, crosslinked state or exposing the curable composition to water to induce crosslinking reactions between curable prepolymers and convert the curable composition to a cured, crosslinked state, or both.
