ADVANTAGE - The graphene/copper composite wire has high strength and high conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing graphene/copper composite wire, which involves: (A) mixing the graphene powder into the alcohol solution of zirconium propionate, and heating it in a drying box to evaporate the alcohol to obtain a mixture of graphene and zirconium propionate; (B) subjecting mixture to the first heat treatment in an air environment; (C) subjecting mixture to a second heat treatment in a vacuum environment; (D) mixing graphene with zirconium propionate mixture and copper powder uniformly; (E) preparing graphene/copper composite body by hot pressing and sintering; (F) using hot extrusion method to prepare graphene/copper composite rod from the finished blank; (G) rolling or drawing the finished composite bar into a composite rod or wire; (H) performing the first heat treatment on the composite rod or wire; (I) drawing composite rod or wire, after the first heat treatment into a composite wire with finished size specifications; and (J) subjecting finished composite wire to the second heat treatment to obtain the final product.
