▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - An electrode comprises an active electrode material comprising a component (C1) comprising graphene and/or graphene oxide, and a component (C2) different than the component (C1). The electrode has an internal porosity of 40-60%. USE - Electrode used in electrochemical cell (claimed) e.g. lithium-ion electrochemical cell. Uses include but are not limited to consumer electronics, wearable computing devices, military mobile equipment, satellite communication, spacecraft devices, low-emission electric vehicles, renewable power plants and stationary electric grids. ADVANTAGE - The electrode provides electrochemical cell with excellent charge and discharge characteristics at increased electrical current. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) fabrication of electrode, which involves (a) mixing (2) active electrode material with a binder to form a mixture, (b) adding a solvent to the mixture to form an electrode slurry, (c) coating (3) the electrode slurry on a substrate, (d) drying (4) the electrode slurry to remove the solvent, (e) and calendering (5) the dried electrode slurry; and (2) electrochemical cell, which comprises a negative electrode, a positive electrode comprising a lithium component, and an ionically conductive electrolyte solution in which the negative and positive electrodes are immersed.
