NOVELTY - Arc-resistant ablation material comprises 0.002-0.2% graphene, 0.004-0.01% lanthanum, 0.1-0.3% zirconium, 18-20% copper and tungsten (balance). USE - The arc-resistant ablation material is useful for UHV SF6 circuit breaker, manufacturing of the electromagnetic rail gun rail component, and high-speed train electrical contact component (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has high arc ablation resistance under high-voltage and high-current working conditions, low contact resistance, low mechanical wear, and good durability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing arc-resistant ablation material comprising providing each component, mixing ethanol suspension of graphene with polyvinyl butyral ethanol solution, adding tungsten powder, cerium, zirconium and part of copper powder gradually under stirring to obtain mixed powder, sequentially vacuum drying mixed powder, sieving, pressing, heating, sintering, and cooling to obtain sintered compact, cleaning the surface of sintered compact, infiltrating copper under vacuum condition, cooling, and annealing to obtain arc-resistant ablation material, where the sintering temperature in green compact sintering step is 1400-1500 degrees C.
