NOVELTY - The preparation method of graphene oxide involves adding graphite and sulfuric acid to four-necked flask, maintaining mixture in ice water bath, ultrasonically processing the mixture, adding graphite, stirring mixture, ultrasonically processing mixture, pressing graphite, adding potassium nitrate, reacting mixture for 1-3 hours, adding potassium chlorate, ultrasonically oxidizing graphite for 3-5 hours, heating mixture at 30-35 degrees C, adding deionized water, heating mixture at 100 degrees C, diluting graphite with water, washing, filtering and drying. USE - Preparation of graphene oxide (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of graphene oxide involves adding graphite and sulfuric acid in a ratio of 1:30-70 to a four-necked flask, maintaining mixture in an ice water bath at -3 to -5 degrees C, ultrasonically processing the mixture, adding graphite to four-necked flask, stirring mixture, ultrasonically processing mixture continuously, pressing graphite, adding potassium nitrate to the four-necked flask in a mass ratio of graphite to potassium nitrate of 1:0.1-0.75, reacting mixture for 1-3 hours, adding potassium chlorate to four-necked flask in a mass ratio of graphite and potassium chlorate of 1:16-18, ultrasonically oxidizing graphite for 3-5 hours, heating mixture at 30-35 degrees C for 2-3 hours, adding deionized water to four-necked flask in mass ratio of graphite and deionized water of 1:100, heating mixture at 100 degrees C, stirring reaction mixture for 2-3 hours, diluting graphite 30-50 times deionized water, washing with aqueous potassium hydroxide solution until neutral, filtering reaction mixture and drying graphene oxide.
