NOVELTY - Preparation method of PVC-graphene oxide nanoribbon composite material film involves adding concentrated sulfuric acid and multiwall carbon nanotubes to three-necked flask, stirring until uniform black solution is appeared, slowly adding potassium permanganate to the solution, stirring the mixture, heating, adding the reaction solution to deionized water, centrifuging, washing with dilute hydrochloric acid solution and deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide nanoribbon in deionized water, dissolving PVC in deionized water and ultrasonically treating the mixed solution. USE - Method is useful for the preparation of PVC-graphene oxide nanoribbon composite material film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The PVC-graphene oxide nanoribbon composite material film has improved physical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation method of PVC-graphene oxide nanoribbon composite material film involves adding 50 ml concentrated sulfuric acid and 0.1 g multiwall carbon nanotubes to 150 ml three-necked flask, stirring for 2 hours until uniform black solution is appeared, slowly adding 0.1-0.5 g potassium permanganate to the solution, stirring the mixture at room temperature for 1 hour, heating at 70 degrees C for 1 hour, adding the reaction solution to 500 ml deionized water, centrifuging, washing with dilute hydrochloric acid solution and deionized water to obtain graphene oxide nanoribbon, ultrasonically dispersing 0.5-2 wt.% graphene oxide nanoribbon in 5 ml deionized water for 30 minutes, dissolving 1 g PVC in 10 ml deionized water under stirring condition at 90 degrees C, mixing two solutions, ultrasonically treating the mixed solution for 30 minutes to obtain a mixture of homogeneous composite mixed solution, pouring the homogeneous mixed solution into a flat substrate and drying at 60 degrees C to obtain the composite material film.
