NOVELTY - Preparing cathode slurry comprises dry mixing the cathode active material, solid conductive agent and optional additives to obtain a mixed dry material, dividing the agglomerant solution into at least two parts, and mixing at least two parts of the agglomerant solution with the mixed dry material step by step to obtain active material slurry, and mixing the conductive agent slurry with the active material slurry. The cathode active material includes at least two of graphite, silicon-oxygen material, silicon-carbon material, soft carbon and hard carbon. The solid conductive agent includes at least two of solid carbon black, acetylene black and graphene. The additive includes a dispersant. USE - Preparation method of cathode material is used in lithium ion battery for electric vehicle, hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), plug-in HEV (PHEV), etc. ADVANTAGE - The method combines wet and dry homogenization processes to form a semi-dry process for homogenization, controls the way and order of adding raw materials, improves slurry process, reduces equipment requirements, increases solid content of the slurry, and guarantees stability, dispersion and uniformity of the cathode slurry.
