NOVELTY - Preparing modified foam nano carbon-based catalyst involves adding a cationic polymer binder into a solvent to prepare a solution A, adding the nano carbon powder into the solution A to obtain a mixed solution B, adding the auxiliary agent into the mixed solution B to obtain a mixed solution C, filling the mixed solution C serving as slurry into a sponge body, drying, and heating in an inert atmosphere to obtain the integral modified foam nano carbon-based catalyst. USE - Method for preparing modified foam nano carbon-based catalyst for catalyzing the direct dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene to styrene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method shows excellent catalytic performance in the reaction of preparing styrene by directly dehydrogenating ethylbenzene and has wide application prospect.
