NOVELTY - The heat detection system (10) comprises a housing that contains a graphene conductor (18). A signal wire (36) is connected in electrical communication with the graphene conductor. The signal wire has a length extends from the housing. Another signal wire (44) is connected in electrical communication with the graphene conductor. The graphene conductor is a flexible and lightweight wire. The graphene conductors are positioned in an aircraft. The graphene conductor is surrounded by an insulator. The insulator forms from a graphene thermal resistor (12). USE - Heat detection system for use in aerospace applications. ADVANTAGE - The graphene conductors are positioned in an aircraft, where the graphene conductor is surrounded by an insulator, and thus enables to reduce the cost and weight of heat detection system for aircraft certification. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for forming a heat detection system.
