NOVELTY - Coating comprises 22-25 %mass calcium precursor, 4-6 %mass phosphorus precursor, 10-15 %mass antibacterial agent and remainder of absolute ethanol. USE - The agent is useful in coating treatment for dental and orthopaedic implantable porous metal surfaces (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides coating with biological activity and anti-bacterial property. The coating has a higher binding strength with the bone. The porous metal structure surface attached with HA coating, which effectively increases the biological activity of the implant, the HA coating is doped with antibiotic, silver nitrate and other components, giving a certain antifungal property to the coating. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for use of coating in coating treatment for dental and orthopaedic implantable porous metal surfaces.
