NOVELTY - A polycarbonate composite comprises a matrix resin and a nanomaterial dispersed in the matrix resin. The matrix resin comprises a polycarbonate copolymer which is a polymerization reaction product of a diol component containing an anhydrosugar alcohol and anhydrosugar alcohol-alkylene glycol and a carbonic acid diester component in which the nanomaterial is dispersed. The melt dispersion of the anhydrosugar alcohol is obtained by introducing the nanomaterial into anhydrosugar alcohol in an aqueous dispersion state. USE - Polycarbonate composite used for forming molded article (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polycarbonate composite has excellent tensile strength and elongation, and little variation in tensile strength and elongation to exhibit uniform physical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of polycarbonate composite, which involves polymerizing the diol component and the carbonic acid diester component containing the molten dispersion of anhydrosugar alcohol and anhydrosugar alcohol-alkylene glycol in which the nanomaterial is dispersed.
