NOVELTY - Preparing tetrahydrofuran acetic acid and ester compounds comprise reducing furan acetic acid and ester compounds for 0.1-72 hours at a pressure of 0.1-10 MPa in a solvent, reducing atmosphere, under the action of a hydrogenation catalyst and a temperature of 30-250 degrees C, and separating the catalyst, distilling off the solvent to obtain the target product tetrahydrofuran acetic acid and ester compounds. USE - The method is useful for preparing tetrahydrofuran acetic acid and ester compounds. ADVANTAGE - The method: realizes efficient conversion of furan acetic acid and esters under the condition of relatively mild and environmentally friendly conditions; is easy for industrial production of the reaction; converts the platform molecule into various important intermediate or terminal product; replaces the existing petrochemical product; reduces the dependence on fossil resources and expands the application range of the biomass.
