NOVELTY - Preparation of ruthenium/phosphorus catalyst involves ultrasonically mixing ruthenium salt solution and solvent, adding carbon carrier, mixing to obtain ruthenium-carbon catalyst, phosphorizing ruthenium-carbon catalyst by ultrasonically mixing the ruthenium-carbon catalyst with phosphorus source and organic solvent at normal temperature for 0.5-20 minutes. USE - Preparation of ruthenium/phosphorous catalyst e.g. bifunctional electrocatalyst used in electrochemical dissociation of water (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides catalyst with regulated and controlled electronic structure on the surface of the metal ruthenium at normal temperature and normal pressure. The high-efficiency bifunctional electrocatalytic material is obtained by simple synthesis, convenient process and low cost.
