NOVELTY - Preparing composition comprises (a) loading a mixer separately with at least one never-dried natural rubber and a filler, where never-dried natural rubber has 5-55 wt.% water, (b) mixing at least one never-dried natural rubber and filler to form a mixture, controlling effecting mixing at mixer temperatures by at least one temperature control means, and removing at least a portion of water from the mixture by evaporation, and (c) evacuating composition comprising filler dispersed in the natural rubber at a filler level of at least 20 phr from the mixer, where composition has a not greater than 5 wt.% water content. USE - The vulcanizate is useful for tire component or article (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces rubber with excellent quality, reduces process time, effort and is economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing vulcanizate, comprising curing the composite in the presence of at least one curing agent to form a vulcanizate.
