NOVELTY - High heat-resistant flexible positive temperature coefficient composition comprises 10000 pts. wt. fluororesin copolymer; 500-2000 pts. wt. electrically conductive filler including electro-conductive carbon black, carbon nanotube, graphite, and/or graphene; 50-100 pts. wt. irradiation crosslinking agent including triallyl cyanurate, triallyl isocyanurate, trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate and/or trimethylolpropane triacrylate; 40-80 pts. wt. antioxidant including at least two of bis(2,4-di-tertbutylphenyl)pentaerythritol diphosphate, tris(2,4-di-tertbutylphenyl) phosphite, bis(2,4-di-tertbutylphenyl)pentaerythritol diphosphate, tris(nonylphenyl) phosphite, isodecyl diphenyl phosphite, and bis(2,6-di-ter-butyl-4-methylphenyl) pentaerythritol-diphosphite; and 25-40 pts. wt. lubricant including low molecular weight (modified) polyolefin, which is amide-modified polyethylene wax. USE - The composition is useful in preparing self-regulating heating cable for temperature maintenance or freeze protection. ADVANTAGE - The composition maximizes dispersion characteristics of electrically conductive filler, improves interfacial adhesion with metal-based conductor by copolymerizing by adjusting combination ratio of fluorine-based monomers, has excellent workability and productivity, excellent flexibility, electrical, mechanical and chemical properties, and heat resistance, improves lifespan of final products, and minimizes risk of fire by improving adhesion.
