NOVELTY - Method of forming high purity high melting point ceramic coating layer, comprises preparing a high melting point powder; pulverizing the high melting point powder; adding and stirring the pulverized high melting point powder with a solution in which a solvent, a dispersant and a reducing agent are mixed; and supplying the stirred solution to a plasma sprayer to the surface of the carbon-containing material, where the high melting point powder comprising at least one of hydrofluorocarbon, tantalum carbide, zirconium carbide, hafnium diboride, tantalum boride, zirconium boride, hafnium nitride, tantalum nitride, and zirconium nitride. USE - The ceramic coating layer is useful: in heat-resistant material (claimed), and for ultra-high temperature ablation/oxidation resistance coating in planetary probes, ultra-high-speed aircraft, rocket engines, gas turbine blades and nuclear reactors for space exploration. ADVANTAGE - The ceramic coating layer is dense and uniform with excellent heat resistance and oxidation resistance properties; prevents or suppresses the problem of oxidation by reacting with oxygen; and has improved stability and reliability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for heat-resistant material comprising ceramic coating layer coated on a carbon-containing material.
