NOVELTY - A lead-carbon metal composite material comprises 0.1-10 wt.% carbon, and remainder of lead, and has a structure containing allotropes of carbon ranging from graphene to graphite. USE - Lead-carbon metal composite material is used for electrodes of lead-acid battery. ADVANTAGE - The lead-acid battery obtained using the electrode containing the lead-carbon metal composite material has excellent electrochemical property and corrosion resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of lead-carbon metal composite material, which involves using lead or its alloys, and halides of alkali metals and/or alkaline-earth metals containing 1-20 %mass metal carbides or non-metals having a particle size of 100 nm to 200 mu m, or solid organic substances.
