NOVELTY - Processing method for improving the surface properties of pig iron castings comprises (i) using sand paper to polish the surface of the pig iron casting, cleaning and drying; (ii) introducing the polished pig iron casting in the step (i) under the ultraviolet lamp for irradiation treatment, processing for 45-55 minutes and taking out; (iii) introducing the raw iron casting in the step (ii) into a corona discharge instrument for corona treatment, processing for 30-40 seconds and taking out; and (iv) uniformly coating the aqueous coating to the surface of the pig iron casting and drying. USE - The method is useful for improving the surface properties of pig iron castings. ADVANTAGE - The method belongs to the surface processing technology field of pig iron casting, effectively improves the surface properties of pig iron castings and improves the adhesion of the paint film, improves the surface properties of pig iron castings, improve their wear resistance, water resistance, oil resistance, chemical resistance and pencil hardness and improves the quality of pig iron castings.
