NOVELTY - Graphene transistor-based DNA sensor comprises an electronic-grade glass, a grid, source electrode, drain electrode on the electronic-grade glass provided with the graphene channel between the source electrode and the drain electrode, and the gate is fixed on the surface of the single-stranded DNA. USE - The graphene transistor-based DNA sensor is useful for DNA detection (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The DNA sensor operates at a voltage lower than 1 V and has detection sensitivity of 4 pM. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing graphene transistor-based DNA sensor, comprising (i) preparing a gate, a source and a drain on the surface of the electronic grade glass such that a channel exists between the source and the drain, (ii) laying graphene on the channel between the source and the drain to obtain a graphene transistor, and (iii) fixing single-stranded DNA on the gate surface of the graphene transistor to obtain a graphene transistor-based DNA sensor; and (2) use of graphene transistor-based DNA sensor for DNA detection, comprising immersing the gate of the graphene transistor-based DNA sensor and the graphene channel portion in the electrolyte containing the DNA to be tested.
