NOVELTY - A counter electrode comprises composite porous graphene and inorganic nano-particle that are coated on a conductive substrate. The inorganic nano-particle controls a microscopic structure of the graphene to form the electrode with uniform microscopic structure, where the inorganic nano-particle is chosen from titanium oxide, tin oxide and silicon dioxide, and the conductive substrate is indium-doped tin oxide or fluorine-doped tin oxide on a metal sheet, and glass or plastic substrate. USE - Counter electrode for use in a dye sensitization solar cell (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrode has photoelectric conversion efficiency, low manufacturing cost, better stability and better mechanical property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing a counter electrode. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a photograph of composite porous graphene.
