NOVELTY - Graphene-reinforced magnesium base composite material is prepared by mixing graphene (Gra) and alcohol dispersing agent with mass ratio of 5-15:1 in anhydrous ethanol, ultrasonicating at 100-200 W for 3-10 hours to obtain graphene chemical dispersion, mixing graphene chemical dispersion and zinc (Zn) powder in ball mill to obtain Gra@Zn composite powder, adding Gra@Zn composite powder to 2-8 mass% semi-solid magnesium-Zn alloy melt, mechanically stirring, heating, ultrasonicating, casting alloy melt in preheated mold, and solidifying. USE - Preparation of graphene-reinforced magnesium base composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The preparation of graphene-reinforced magnesium base composite material uniformly disperses graphene and zinc, uniformly disperses graphene in metal, and improves mechanical property of prepared graphene-reinforced magnesium base composite material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene-reinforced magnesium base composite material is prepared by mixing graphene (Gra) and alcohol dispersing agent with mass ratio of 5-15:1 in anhydrous ethanol, ultrasonicating at 100-200 W for 3-10 hours to obtain graphene chemical dispersion, mixing graphene chemical dispersion and zinc (Zn) powder with mass ratio of 10-20:1 in ball mill at speed of 250-450 r/minute for 6-12 hours with mass ratio balls:material of 8-20:1 to obtain Gra@Zn composite powder, adding Gra@Zn composite powder to 2-8 mass% semi-solid magnesium-Zn alloy melt with mass ratio of 1-2:45-47.5, mechanically stirring for 10-20 minutes, heating, ultrasonicating at 400-800 W for 5-15 minutes until alloy rod lower level is 30-50 cm, casting alloy melt in mold which is preheated at 500-600 degrees C, and solidifying under 100-200 MPa pressure.
