NOVELTY - The method comprises (1) mixing the salt A, carbon source, cation source and the sugar uniformly, heating to melt the sugar, cooling to obtain the first mixed solid, completely melting the pure aluminum to obtain aluminum liquid, adding salt B on the surface of the aluminum liquid, after completely melting the salt B, adding the first mixed solid to react to obtain the aluminum liquid containing carbide nano particles, casting the aluminum liquid containing carbide nano-particles to obtain carbide nano-particle reinforced pure aluminum composite material ingot, (2) re-melting the carbide nano-particle reinforced pure aluminum composite material ingot, heating, casting, and obtaining the target component of carbide nano-particle reinforced aluminum-based nano composite material ingot, and (3) subjecting aluminum-based nanocomposite material ingot reinforced by the carbide nanoparticles of the target composition to gas atomization and powder spraying to obtain the product. USE - Method for preparing aluminum-based nanocomposite powder useful in selective laser melting and electron beam selective melting for 3D printing. ADVANTAGE - The method: is simple and economical; and improves the strength of the base alloy.
