NOVELTY - Preparation method of ethyl pyruvate by photocatalytically oxidizing ethyl lactate comprises using ethyl lactate as a raw material, under the catalysis of potassium-doped graphene phase carbon nitride, using white LED lamp as light source, carrying out open reaction at room temperature and using normal pressure air to oxidize ethyl lactate to ethyl pyruvate. USE - The method is used for preparing ethyl pyruvate by photocatalytically oxidizing ethyl lactate. ADVANTAGE - The method has high selective direct oxidation of ethyl lactate to ethyl pyruvate under photocatalytic conditions, achieves highly selective direct oxidation of ethyl lactate to ethyl pyruvate, promotes the conversion of ethyl lactate and the generation of ethyl pyruvate and uses catalyst for recovery and reuse.
