NOVELTY - Self-assembled nano-composite coating comprises dendritic macromolecule interface layer and graphene oxide interface layer alternately deposited on the surface of the rubber profile (dendritic macromolecule/graphene oxide)n alternating interface layer. The dendritic macromolecule interface layer comprises 100 pts. wt. dendritic macromolecule and 80-110 pts. wt. dendritic macromolecule interface layer UV curing auxiliary material, the dendritic macromolecule interface layer UV curing auxiliary material comprises methyl methacrylate, diluent, photoinitiator and leveling agent, the graphene oxide interface layer comprises graphene oxide, deionized water and graphene oxide interface layer UV curing auxiliary material, the graphene oxide interface layer UV curing auxiliary material comprises methyl methacrylate, photoinitiator and leveling agent and the graphene oxide is prepared by Hummers oxidation method. USE - The self-assembled nano-composite coating is useful: for surface modification of rubber profiles; and in long-life rubber conveyor belts (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The self-assembled nano-composite coating: can modify the surface of the rubber profiles and can improve the strength and wear resistance and prolongs the service life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Self-assembled nano-composite coating comprises dendritic macromolecule interface layer and graphene oxide interface layer alternately deposited on the surface of the rubber profile (dendritic macromolecule/graphene oxide)n alternating interface layer. The dendritic macromolecule interface layer comprises 100 pts. wt. dendritic macromolecule and 80-110 pts. wt. dendritic macromolecule interface layer UV curing auxiliary material, the dendritic macromolecule interface layer UV curing auxiliary material comprises 45-75 pts. wt. methyl methacrylate, 25-50 pts. wt. diluent, 2-5 pts. wt. photoinitiator and 1-2 pts. wt. leveling agent, the graphene oxide interface layer comprises 1-2.5 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 1-2.5 pts. wt. deionized water and 1-3 pts. wt. graphene oxide interface layer UV curing auxiliary material, the graphene oxide interface layer UV curing auxiliary material comprises 25-50 pts. wt. methyl methacrylate, 2-8 pts. wt. photoinitiator and 1-2 pts. wt. leveling agent, the graphene oxide is prepared by Hummers oxidation method and the preparation process of the layer-by-layer self-assembled nano-composite coating includes (i) spraying the raw materials of the dendritic macromolecule interface layer onto the surface cleaned rubber profile, (ii) spraying the raw materials of the graphene oxide interface layer onto the dendritic macromolecule interface layer, (iii) curing by using 400-500 nm UV light irradiation for at least 10 minutes, and (iv) repeating the steps of (i) to (iii) for 10-15 times to obtain final product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for long-life rubber conveyor belt comprising an upper covering rubber layer, where the surface of the upper covering rubber layer is provided with self-assembled nano-composite coating.
