NOVELTY - A rubber composition comprises a rubber mixture containing at least one structural unit derived from isobutylene and a structural unit derived from conjugated diene, a vulcanizing agent, a hydrazide or hydrazone compound (I), and a vulcanization accelerator. The vulcanization accelerator is zinc oxide. USE - Rubber composition for curing bladder. ADVANTAGE - The rubber composition provides curing bladder with improved heat resistance, fatigue resistance and tear resistance under high temperature conditions, and increases the service life of the curing bladder by more than 10%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A rubber composition comprises a rubber mixture containing at least one structural unit derived from isobutylene and a structural unit derived from conjugated diene, a vulcanizing agent, a hydrazide or hydrazone compound of formula (I), and a vulcanization accelerator. The vulcanization accelerator is zinc oxide. R1 = 6-30C alkyl or 6-30C aryl (optionally substituted by Q); R2 = H, 6-30C alkyl or 6-30C aryl (optionally substituted by Q); and Q = 1-20C alkyl, hydroxy or amino. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the preparation of the rubber composition, which involves (1) mixing rubber mixture, halogen donor, hydrazide or hydrazone compound (I), filler, softener, and vulcanization accelerator in internal mixer, discharging to obtain a material (A), (2) mixing the material (A) and the remaining hydrazide or hydrazone compound (I), filler, softener, and vulcanization accelerator in internal mixer, discharging to obtain a material (B), (3) cooling the material (B), leaving still, adding the vulcanizing agent, the remaining hydrazide or hydrazone compound (I), and vulcanization accelerator, mixing, discharging, and (4) vulcanizing to obtain rubber composition product.
