NOVELTY - Electromagnetic shielding core-spun yarn comprises 4-8 wt.% core yarn, and outer yarn (remaining amount), where the core yarn is modified spandex yarn, the outer yarn includes polyester fiber, acrylic fiber and/or wool fiber, the modified spandex yarn comprises 75-85 pts. wt. polyurethane particles, 2-4 pts. wt. anti-radiation additives, 0.5-0.8 pts. wt. titanate coupling agent, and 0.8-1.2 pts. wt. dispersant, and the anti-radiation additive comprises silver-plated copper powder, and silicon carbide powder. USE - Used as the electromagnetic shielding core-spun yarn. ADVANTAGE - The core-spun yarn: has electromagnetic shielding and comfortable wearing performance, and has uniform distribution of electromagnetic shielding. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the electromagnetic shielding core-spun yarn comprising (i) pre-drawing the modified spandex yarn in a pre-drawing ratio of 3-4.5 to obtain pre-drawn modified spandex yarn, (ii) mixing the wrapped yarn with pre-drawn modified spandex yarn in the front roller jaws, and mixing to obtain core-spun yarn, and (iii) uniformly coating the electromagnetic shielding paint on the surface of core-spun yarn, then drying and cooling.
