NOVELTY - Preparation of composite material involves preparing graphene oxide by Hummers method, grinding pollen as a bio template into powder, soaking in silicic acid sol for 10-20 hours, adjusting pH to 5.2-5.8, centrifuging, separating, washing, adding obtained product to phosphomolybdic acid solution, stirring for 1-3 hours, filtering, drying, calcining at 500-600 degrees C, obtaining a phosphomolybdic acid-silica composite with micro-ellipsoidal structure, dispersing resultant product and graphene oxide in distilled water, adding isopropanol, and stirring in a photocatalytic reactor for 5-15 hours. USE - Preparation of composite material used for preparing modified electrode for detecting nitrite (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple and economical preparation of composite material having excellent sensitivity and stability, with high reproducibility, using easily available raw materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of modified electrode, which involves applying the dispersion of composite material on surface of pre-treated glassy carbon electrode, and processing.
