NOVELTY - Polyacrylonitrile-graphene oxide-silver nanocomposite based fibrous membrane filter comprises silver nanoparticles and graphene oxide as filler materials engineered into the nanofibrous form incorporated in the air filter masks, where the functionalized membrane filter consisting the interconnected nanofibrous web act as a barrier against the micron sized microbes. USE - Polyacrylonitrile-graphene oxide-silver nanocomposite based fibrous membrane filter for use as supplement of air purifier, air purification chambers, air filter mask, commercial surgical mask, and industrial breathing mask, and antiviral filler after controlling/shrinking the porosity of nanofibrous mesh and enhancing the nanofiber deposition time to achieve bulk membrane that could enables the effective filtration of viruses (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The membrane filter has improved filtration efficiency of 99.9 % of bacteria having mean size of 3 plus minus 0.3 micron, high energy density, good electrical conductivity, cheap raw materials, high efficiency, convenient use, good thermal conductivity and simple process.
