NOVELTY - Preparing graphene modified-rubber composite material e.g. adding dried graphene oxide flakes (GO) into anhydrous dimethylformamide, ultrasonicating for 30 minutes to obtain uniform gelatinous solution, adding ethylene diamine and ethylene dichloride-hydrochloric acid, magnetically stirring at room temperature for 24 hours, collecting lower layer of the precipitate by centrifugation, washing many times with deionized water and ethanol, drying at 40 degrees C for 12 hours under vacuum to obtain surface-doped graphene oxide sheet (GO-NH2), adding GO-NH2 powder and anhydrous toluene into a round bottom flask, ultrasonically dispersing, cooling to 0 degrees C, adding triethylamine and 2-bromoisobutyryl bromide under nitrogen atmosphere, stirring, heating at room temperature, stirring for one night, suction filtering the reaction, washing filter cake with a large amount of dimethylformamide and deionized water, washing with ethanol, drying to obtain graphene oxide (GO-NH2-Br) with surface initiator. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene modified-rubber composite material. ADVANTAGE - The material: has excellent reinforcing effect on the rubber matrix; and improve the electrical conductivity of rubber composite. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene modified-rubber composite material (i) adding dried graphene oxide flakes (GO) into anhydrous dimethylformamide, ultrasonicating for 30 minutes to obtain uniform gelatinous solution, adding ethylene diamine and ethylene dichloride-hydrochloric acid, magnetically stirring at room temperature for 24 hours, collecting lower layer of the precipitate by centrifugation, washing many times with deionized water and ethanol, drying at 40 degrees C for 12 hours under vacuum to obtain surface-doped graphene oxide sheet (GO-NH2), adding GO-NH2 powder and anhydrous toluene into a round bottom flask, ultrasonically dispersing, cooling to 0 degrees C, adding triethylamine and 2-bromoisobutyryl bromide under nitrogen atmosphere, stirring for 2 hours, heating at room temperature, stirring for one night, suction filtering the reaction, washing filter cake with a large amount of dimethylformamide and deionized water, washing with ethanol, drying at 40 degrees C for 12 hours to obtain graphene oxide (GO-NH2-Br) with surface initiator, (ii) mixing GO-NH2-Br, (MATMA)BF4 with anhydrous acetonitrile, adding copper(I) bromide and hexamethyltriethylenetetramine under nitrogen atmosphere, sealing, stirring reaction for 24 hours, dissolving reaction in dimethylformamide, washing, centrifuging, drying product under vacuum at 60 degrees C for 24 hours to obtain GOP(MATMA)BF4, mixing GO-P(MATMA)BF4 with deionized water and hydrated hydrazine at 100 degrees C for 1 hours under reflux, filtering, washing with deionized water, drying at 50 degrees C for 24 hours under vacuum to obtain surface grafted polyionic liquid of graphene (RGOP(MATMA)BF4), and (iii) dispersing RGOP (MATMA) BF4 and rubber latex in a solvent, stirring, blending with ultrasound, spraying at high temperature to obtain masterbatch, placing masterbatch is in an open mill for mastication, passing through the internal mixer for plasticating, tableting and then allowing to stand for 48 hours to obtain final product.
