NOVELTY - Sound insulation material comprises 100 pts. wt. butyronitrile, 1-2 pts. wt. modified graphene oxide, 1-2 pts. wt. zinc oxide, 1-2 pts. wt. stearic acid, 10-20 pts. wt. accelerator, and 1.2-2.4 pts. wt. sulfur. The microscopic morphology of the modified graphene oxide is a sheet-type structure. The modified graphene oxide is uniformly distributed in the sound insulation material, and constitutes a network structure inside the sound insulation material. USE - The sound insulation material is useful in a water purifying machine e.g. household water purifier and water quality purifier. Can also be used in environment protection. ADVANTAGE - The method improves the whole crosslinking density of the composite material; greatly increases the internal friction resistance, and increases the loss factor. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) a method for preparing sound insulation material comprising (1) dispersing graphene oxide in ethanol to obtain a mixed solution, (2) adding a coupling agent to the mixed solution to obtain a crystalline product, (3) cleaning and drying the crystalline product to obtain modified graphene, (4) adding a modifier to the nitrile, kneading evenly and then discharging the rubber to obtain a mixed rubber, and (5) vulcanizing the rubber compound to obtain sound insulation material; (2) a water purifying machine comprising a noise reduction member made of the sound insulation material, where the noise reduction member is arranged on the outer side of the noise source part in the water purifying machine .
