▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A congo red dye adsorbent comprises magnesium oxide-graphene composite microspheres. The microstructure of microspheres is formed by self-assembling nano-sheets in flower ball shaped. The mass ratio of magnesium oxide and graphene count is 1:0.001-0.01. USE - Congo red dye adsorbent for processing congo red dye wastewater (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The performance of adsorbing and removing congo red dye is significantly enhanced. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of congo red dye adsorbent, which involves placing graphene oxide powder in ethylene glycol and ultrasonically processing for 5-10 hours, to obtain graphene oxide solution, magnesium acetate particles and polyvinyl pyrrolidone powder are dissolved in ethylene glycol solution, adding prepared graphene oxide solution, and stirring at room temperature, to form homogeneous composite solution, transferring the solution to hydrothermal reaction kettle and post-processing at 120-180 degrees C for 3-12 hours, calcining hydrothermal reaction product in an air atmosphere at 300-500 degrees C for 1-3 hours, and naturally cooling, to obtain magnesium oxide-graphene composite microspheres. The volume ratio of magnesium acetate particles and polyvinyl pyrrolidone powder, and ethylene glycol solution is 1-1.5 g:100 ml and 0.5-1 g:100 ml; and (2) method of processing congo red dye wastewater using congo red dye adsorbent, which involves adding congo red dye adsorbent in wastewater containing congo red dye, mixing and shaking the congo red dye adsorbent and filtering, to remove dye using magnesium oxide graphene composite.
