NOVELTY - Cathode pole piece comprises current collector, first active material layer in contact with the current collector, and second active material layer in contact with the first active material layer. The active material in the first active material layer is graphite. The active material in the second active material layer is binary mixed material of graphite and hard carbon. USE - The cathode pole piece is useful in field of lithium ion batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: utilizes the advantages of graphite and hard carbon; and improves the fast charging performance of the cathode pole piece through the different distribution in the vertical direction of the current collector. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the cathode pole piece.
