NOVELTY - Graphene dispersion comprises: a graphene; and a polyol compound comprising aromatic polyol (I), and a modified aromatic polyol made by subjecting (I) and an epoxidized vegetable oil to a ring opening reaction. USE - The dispersion is useful in composition for preparing a polyurethane composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The dispersion: utilizes (I) and the modified aromatic polyol to increase a dispersibility of graphene and exhibit excellent reactivities, and thus may serve as reactive agents and improve a compatibility between the graphene dispersion and organic materials used in subsequent applications e.g. preparation of a polyurethane product with improved properties e.g. abrasion resistance and antistatic property; and provides the composite material without using the heating step for removing the solvents, thus reducing energy consumption and manufacturing cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene dispersion comprises: a graphene; and a polyol compound comprising aromatic polyol of formula (I), and a modified aromatic polyol made by subjecting (I) and an epoxidized vegetable oil to a ring opening reaction. p, q = 1-20. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing the graphene dispersion, comprising (a) mixing an expanded graphite and the polyol compound to obtain a mixture and the epoxidized vegetable oil to a ring opening reaction, and (b) subjecting the mixture to a mechanical process so as to exfoliate the expanded graphite to obtain the dispersion; (2) a composition for preparing a polyurethane composite material, comprising the dispersion and a curing compound having at least two isocyanate groups; and (3) a polyurethane composite material made from the composition.
