NOVELTY - Carbon-sulfurized polymer composite (1) comprises porous carbon material (10), and a sulfurized polymer (20) formed on the surface of the porous carbon material. USE - Carbon-sulfurized polymer composite used in positive electrode for manufacturing lithium secondary battery including lithium-sulfur secondary battery, a lithium secondary battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The carbon-sulfurized polymer composite has high ionic conductivity by securing a path for lithium ions to move to the inside of the pores, and acts as a sulfur carrier to increase reactivity with sulfur, and improves life characteristics of the lithium secondary battery, such as a discharge voltage and a discharge capacity, while preventing the elution of polysulfide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing carbon-sulfide polymer composite, which involves forming a mixed solution by adding a porous carbon material-containing material to the polymer solution, forming a mixture by drying the mixed solution, secondary drying and pulverizing the mixture to form a porous carbon material-containing material-polymer composite particle, and then mixing and heating the porous carbon material-containing material-polymer composite particles and sulfur powder; and (2) a positive electrode, which comprises carbon-sulfide polymer composite, cathode, a separator interposed between cathode and carbon-sulfide polymer composite, and an electrolyte solution.
