NOVELTY - Azobenzene-graphene oxide composite material is represented by (I). USE - Azobenzene-graphene oxide composite material used in solar light energy storage material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The azobenzene-graphene oxide composite material is convenient and suitable for large-scale popularization, has good solubility, high thermal stability and high energy, and prepared in simple and cost effective manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Azobenzene-graphene oxide composite material is represented by formula (I). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing azobenzene-graphene oxide composite material, which involves: (A) reacting graphene oxide in presence of acylating agent, and subjecting to chlorination reaction to obtain first product; (B) coupling p-aminobenzoic acid with p-hydroxyaniline to obtain second product; and (C) grafting the first product in dimethylformamide to prepare dispersion liquid, mixing dispersion liquid with second product, subjecting to graft reaction, filtering, purifying and drying to obtain final product.
