NOVELTY - Preparing reduced graphene oxide supported bismuth tungstate/titanium dioxide composite visible light catalyst antibacterial material comprises e.g. (i) dissolving sodium tungstate dihydrate in deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain sodium tungstate solution, dissolving bismuth salt in absolute ethanol, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain bismuth salt suspension, mixing the obtained sodium tungstate solution and bismuth salt suspension to obtain mixed solution, (ii) adding tetrabutyl titanate into mixed solution obtained in the step (i), adding weak acid, adjusting the pH value with alkali solution, uniformly stirring, carrying out hydrothermal reaction, filtering, washing, drying, calcining and grinding, and (iii) ultrasonically dispersing the bismuth tungstate/titanium dioxide powder, and reduced graphene oxide in absolute ethanol, magnetically stirring uniformly, subjecting to hydrothermal reaction, filtering, washing, drying and grinding. USE - The method is useful for preparing reduced graphene oxide supported bismuth tungstate/titanium dioxide composite visible light catalyst antibacterial material. ADVANTAGE - The material: has simple preparation method, high safety, no secondary pollution and low cost; is capable of killing the bacterial microorganisms under visible light; has durable and stable sterilization performance; and is non-toxic and harmless. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing reduced graphene oxide supported bismuth tungstate/titanium dioxide composite visible light catalyst antibacterial material comprises (i) dissolving sodium tungstate dihydrate in deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain sodium tungstate solution, dissolving bismuth salt in absolute ethanol, ultrasonically dispersing to obtain bismuth salt suspension, mixing the obtained sodium tungstate solution and bismuth salt suspension to obtain mixed solution, (ii) adding tetrabutyl titanate into mixed solution obtained in the step (i), adding weak acid, adjusting the pH value with alkali solution, uniformly stirring, carrying out hydrothermal reaction, filtering, washing, drying, calcining and grinding to obtain bismuth tungstate/titanium dioxide powder, and (iii) ultrasonically dispersing the bismuth tungstate/titanium dioxide powder obtained in the step (ii), and reduced graphene oxide in absolute ethanol, magnetically stirring uniformly, subjecting to hydrothermal reaction, filtering, washing, drying and grinding to obtain reduced graphene oxide supported bismuth tungstate/titanium dioxide composite visible light catalyst antibacterial material. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for reduced graphene oxide supported bismuth tungstate/titanium dioxide composite visible light catalyst antibacterial material prepared by above method.
