NOVELTY - Waterproof gas permeable membrane preparation involves dispersing graphene oxide in water with hydrogen peroxide solution at 60-100 degrees C for 2-6 hours, adding reducing agent with stirring for 1-2 hours, and then centrifuging or filtering to collect solid porous graphene. The obtained porous graphene is dispersed in dimethylformamide solution, and then mixed with hydrophobic compound with stirring for 30-60 minutes. The appropriate amount of porogen is added with stirring uniformly to obtain modified porous graphene dispersion. The thermoplastic polyurethane is added in dimethylformamide at 70-90 degrees C with stirring. The porous graphene dispersion is stirred uniformly for 10-30 minutes, and then poured into defoamed mixed solution onto substrate. The stream is passed through for forming film by stretching or coating, and then rapidly immersed in water to form film. The formed mixture is filtered and then dried to obtain the waterproof gas permeable film. USE - Method for preparing waterproof gas permeable membrane. ADVANTAGE - The method prepares the waterproof gas permeable membrane in a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly manner with beneficial effects, moisture permeability, and mechanical properties, good tensile strength and elongation at break, and excellent waterproof gas permeability. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic scanning electron micrograph of the prepared waterproof gas permeable membrane.
