NOVELTY - Preparing proton exchange membrane comprises (i) mixing montmorillonite suspension with graphene oxide suspension to obtain a first mixed solution, stirring the first mixed solution at 80-90degrees Celsius to obtain second mixed liquid, (ii) drying the second mixed solution to obtain first mixture, and (iv) dissolving the first mixture in an organic solvent, then mixing with perfluorinated sulfonic acid proton membrane solution and stirring to obtain third mixed liquid and then ultrasonically processing the third mixed solution and heating to obtain the final product. USE - The proton exchange membrane is useful for fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The proton exchange membrane: improves the proton conductivity and performance of the fuel cell; and increases the specific surface area of the film to absorb more free water. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a proton exchange membrane prepared by the above preparation method.
