The content of amorphous titanium dioxide is 20 wt.%. The total content of nickel and platinum is 20 wt.%. USE - Alloy electrocatalyst is used in catalytic reaction of anode and cathode in direct-methanol fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The alloy electrocatalyst has small size, and is prepared by simple and easy process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An alloy electrocatalyst comprises platinum-nickel-amorphous titanium dioxide-reduced graphene oxide (PtxNi1/amorphous TiO2/rGO, where x is 1-3), with platinum content of 15.3-18 wt.%, nickel content of 2-4.7 wt.% and amorphous titanium dioxide/reduced graphene oxide content of 80 wt. The content of amorphous titanium dioxide is 20 wt.%. The total content of nickel and platinum is 20 wt.%. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of alloy electrocatalyst, which involves using graphene oxide hydrosol with concentration of 16.4 mg/mL, 40 mL anhydrous ethanol, 7.8 mL deionized water, 360 mu L glacial acetic acid, 186 mu L isopropyl titanate, 2.07-2.45 mL 0.019 M hexachloroplatinic acid aqueous solution, 0.45-1.16 mL 0.034 M nickel nitrate aqueous solution, and 40 mL ethylene glycol.
