NOVELTY - Preparing high performance graphene aramid fiber comprises (i) taking flake graphene, dissolving graphene in 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and/or water to form graphene slurry, where, graphene slurry comprises 0.5-2 wt.% flake graphene; (ii) adding phytic acid to graphene slurry and mixing and stirring to form mixed slurry; and (iii) adding aramid pulp to the mixed slurry, stirring and mixing and spinning, where ratio of flaky graphene, phytic acid and aramid pulp is 1:1:18-98. USE - The method is useful for preparing high performance graphene aramid fiber. ADVANTAGE - The method solves the problem that graphene is easy to fall off on aramid fiber. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for high-performance graphene aramid fiber, prepared by above mentioned method, where graphene aramid fiber is graphene-coated aramid fiber.
