NOVELTY - Preparation of modified graphene material involves placing an oxidized graphite in a vacuum cavity of microwave chamber, closing the cavity, extracting pressure of cavity, infusing nitrogen gas into cavity, extracting pressure of cavity, repeating gas infusion and pressure extraction processes for 2-3 times, infusing ammonia or fluorine gas, performing microwave irradiation until oxidized graphite is exploded and disaggregated, extracting gas in the cavity, infusing nitrogen gas into cavity, opened the cavity, and modified reduced oxidized graphite powder is recovered. USE - Preparation of modified graphene material. ADVANTAGE - The method provides high yield of modified graphene material by a simple method, with reduced energy consumption, and without combustion of graphene in high-temperature reducing process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of modified graphene material involves placing an oxidized graphite in a vacuum cavity of microwave chamber, closing the cavity, extracting pressure of cavity to 4-8x 10-2 Torr, infusing nitrogen gas into cavity until pressure is 100 Torr or more, extracting pressure of cavity to 4-8x 10-2 Torr, repeating gas infusion and pressure extraction processes for 2-3 times until residual oxygen is expelled, infusing ammonia or fluorine gas until the barometer reading is 10 Torr, performing microwave irradiation with a power of 500-10000 W for 5-300 seconds until oxidized graphite is exploded and disaggregated, extracting gas in the cavity, infusing nitrogen gas into cavity until pressure is set to atmospheric state, opened the cavity, and modified reduced oxidized graphite powder is recovered.
