NOVELTY - The preparation method of graphene-polyether benzimidazole composite film involves (i) dispersing graphite powder in methanesulfonic acid, sealing, ultrasonically dispersing the mixture, centrifuging, removing unexposed graphite particles, and collecting upper solution which is graphene solution, (ii) mixing methanesulfonic acid/graphene solution with pure methanesulfonic acid solution in three-necked flask, adding phosphorus pentoxide, stirring, dissolving, adding 3,3'-diaminobiphenyl and 4,4'-dibenzoate, heating, stirring, precipitating, adding into ice water, washing, and drying. USE - Preparation of graphene-polyether benzimidazole composite film (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables the preparation of graphene-polyether benzimidazole composite film with excellent physical property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of graphene-polyether benzimidazole composite film involves (i) dispersing 0.12 g graphite powder in 60 ml methanesulfonic acid, sealing, avoiding contact with air, ultrasonically dispersing the mixture in a low power ultrasound apparatus for 2 hours, centrifuging the treated solution at 3000 rpm for 90 minutes, removing unexposed graphite particles, and collecting upper solution which is graphene solution, (ii) mixing methanesulfonic acid/graphene solution with a pure methanesulfonic acid solution in a 100 ml three-necked flask to obtain 30 ml solution, adjusting volume ratio of methanesulfonic acid/graphene solution and pure methanesulfonic acid solution, so that the graphene content is adjusted to 0.4 wt.%, adding 5 g phosphorus pentoxide, stirring, dissolving, adding 5 mmol 3,3'-diaminobiphenyl and 5 mmol 4,4'-dibenzoate, heating at 140 degrees C, stirring in a nitrogen atmosphere for 4 minutes, precipitating the product, adding into ice water, washing with 5% sodium bicarbonate solution for 24 hours, washing with deionized water for 24 hours, and drying to obtain graphene-polyether benzimidazole composite material, (iii) adding 0.5 g graphene-polyether benzimidazole composite material to 10 ml dimethyl sulfoxide, magnetically stirring, completely dissolving, casting on a smooth glass plate, drying at 80 degrees C for 12 hours, washing the dried film with water at 60 degrees C for 12 hours, completely removing dimethyl sulfoxide, and drying at 80 degrees C for 12 hours to obtain film with thickness of 0.02-0.04 mm.
