NOVELTY - A graphene material is produced from graphitic material particle by mixing graphitic material particles in liquid medium to form graphite suspension, and exposing graphite suspension to compression and explosive decompression treatment including compressing graphite suspension to 1st pressure, directing compressed graphite suspension once through local constriction (14) into area (30) of reduced pressure in which graphite suspension is decompressed from 1st pressure to 2nd pressure, expanding graphitic material particles and exfoliating graphene material from graphitic material particles. USE - Production of graphene material from graphitic material particle. ADVANTAGE - Yield of production of graphene material is high. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A graphene material is produced from graphitic material particle by mixing graphitic material particles in liquid medium to form graphite suspension, and exposing graphite suspension to compression and explosive decompression treatment including compressing graphite suspension to 1st pressure, directing compressed graphite suspension once through local constriction (14) into area (30) of reduced pressure in which graphite suspension is decompressed from 1st pressure to 2nd pressure, expanding graphitic material particles and exfoliating graphene material from graphitic material particles to produce graphene material dispersed in liquid medium.
