NOVELTY - An electrode comprises a base electrode, a graphene quantum dot coating, a hemoglobin coating, and a Nafion coating, where the base electrode is an ionic liquid modified carbon paste electrode. USE - Electrode for use as working electrode in protein electrochemical sensor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrode exhibits good reversibility of redox peaks, indicates the presence of GQDs causes a direct electronic transfer of Hb. The sensor exhibits a good effect on TCA Electrocatalytic reduction performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing electrode.
