NOVELTY - Preparing catalyst involves using graphene oxide-supported molybdenum dioxide catalyst. USE - Preparing catalyst for direct amination of benzene to aniline. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare catalyst which has simple preparation process, easy to operate, and eco-friendly, and used it repeatedly, and has good application prospect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for performing direct amination of benzene to prepare aniline, which involves: (A) using acetic acid, ammonia, dioxomolybdenum/graphite oxide, adding hydrogen peroxide and benzene to atmospheric pressure reactor and condensing reflux device at 60-80 degrees C, and carrying out reaction for 2-5 hours with stirring unitl reaction is finished, where temperature is lowered to room temperature; (B) adding dioxomolybdenum, after filtering reaction solution unitl it is neutralized with sodium hydroxide solution to pH 7-8; and (C) extracting organic phase with diethyl ether to obtain aniline, where mass ratio of acetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, benzene, dioxomolybdenum/graphite oxide and ammonia is 2.5:2.7:1:0.1:0.95-2.5:4.5:1:0.1:0.95, and volume ratio of benzene and diethyl ether is 1:1.
