NOVELTY - A gold nanoparticle/graphene oxide composite material comprises graphene oxide and gold nanoparticles uniformly loaded on the surface of lamella and attached by poly-4-vinylpyridine. USE - Gold nanoparticle/graphene oxide composite material used for adsorbing and detecting negative fluorescence dye (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has selective adsorption property and uses surface-enhanced Raman scatter spectroscopy for detection of dye. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of composite material comprising slowly adding poly(4-vinylpyridine)-modified graphene oxide to gold nano-sol, sonicating, centrifuging, washing, and drying.
