NOVELTY - Ceramic brake block comprises 7-10 pts. wt. nitrile modified phenolic resin, 2-5 pts. wt. powder nitrile rubber, 4-10 pts. wt. purple copper fiber, 2-4 pts. wt. aramid, 3-8 pts. wt. calcium sulfate whisker, 5-10 pts. wt. graphene-nano-silicon carbide composite material, 3-5 pts. wt. cashew nut shell oil friction powder, 2-5 pts. wt. chromite, 5-7 pts. wt. wollastonite, 5-10 pts. wt. reduced iron powder and 0.3-0.5 pts. wt. rare earth. USE - Used as ceramic brake block. ADVANTAGE - The brake block: utilizes easily available raw materials; and has stable brake friction coefficient, excellent flexibility, wear resistance, low noise and smooth braking; and is environmentally friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing ceramic brake block, comprising (i) adding purple copper fiber, aramid, graphene-nano-silicon carbide composite material, cashew nut shell oil friction powder, chromite, wollastonite, reduced iron powder and rare earth into a grinder and grinding for 2-4 hours, then adding nitrile modified phenolic resin, powder nitrile rubber and calcium sulfate whisker and continuing to mix and grinding for 40-60 minutes, and (ii) adding the obtained mixed powder into a brake pad mold and hot press molding at 130-140 degrees C under pressure of 180-220 MPa, cooling, grinding, chamfering, electrostatic spraying, marking, riveting and mounting accessories, and then finally packing to obtain final product.
