NOVELTY - Preparing graphene quantum dot/cerium oxide photocatalyst rod-shaped structure comprises adding cerium oxide into aqueous graphene quantum dot solution, ultrasonically dispersing, transferring into a reaction kettle, hydrothermally reacting, cooling, centrifuging, washing with pure water and freeze-drying. USE - The photocatalyst is useful in the field of photocatalytic wastewater treatment. ADVANTAGE - The method utilizes cerium oxide as a photocatalyst and graphene quantum dots as photosensitizers, enhances the electron-hole transfer life of the composite under visible light irradiation, and improves the photocatalytic ability of the composite photocatalyst.
