NOVELTY - Preparation of phosphate anion-surface imprinted polymer involves mixing 3-(methacryloyloxy)propyltrimethoxysilane, ethanol and lanthanum(III)-modified graphene for 20 minutes, heating the resultant mixture, centrifuging, washing with ethanol times, drying, adding 30 mL ethanol and 10 mL deuterium-depleted water, stirring, adding sodium dihydrogen phosphate and methacrylic acid, stirring, adding mixed solution of ethylene glycol dimethacrylate and azobisisobutyronitrile, reacting, washing with mixture of methanol and deuterium-depleted water, centrifuging, washing and drying. USE - Preparation of phosphate anion-surface imprinted polymer used in selective separation and enrichment of phosphate anions (claimed) in environmental sample. ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently provides phosphate anion-surface imprinted polymer having excellent recyclability, and selectivity with respect to phosphate anion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of phosphate anion-surface imprinted polymer involves mixing 3-(methacryloyloxy)propyltrimethoxysilane, ethanol and lanthanum(III)-modified graphene for 20 minutes, heating the resultant mixture at 50 degrees C in an oil bath, magnetically stirring for 12 hours, cooling to room temperature, centrifuging the mixture, washing with ethanol for three times, drying at 40 degrees C for 24 hours under vacuum, charging the resultant material into a round-bottomed flask, adding 30 mL ethanol and 10 mL deuterium-depleted water, magnetically stirring at room temperature for 2 hours, obtaining 3-(methacryloyloxy)propyltrimethoxysilane-modified lanthanum(III)-modified graphene, adding sodium dihydrogen phosphate and methacrylic acid, stirring for 2 hours, adding mixed solution of ethylene glycol dimethacrylate and azobisisobutyronitrile, mixing under nitrogen gas, placing the resultant mixture in oil bath at 65 degrees C under nitrogen atmosphere, reacting for 6 hours, cooling in ice bath, then placing in air, washing with mixture of methanol and deuterium-depleted water in volume ratio of 1:1, centrifuging, washing with 0.02 M sodium hydroxide, and drying at 50 degrees C in a vacuum oven. The lanthanum(III)-modified graphene is prepared adding lanthanum(III) chloride solution to graphene oxide solution obtained by ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide in water, magnetically stirring for 12 hours, separating the product by centrifugation, washing with water and drying at 40 degrees C for 24 hours.
