NOVELTY - Method for improving performance of metal-air battery by using high pressure comprises placing the metal battery in the high-pressure container, filling oxygen-containing gas into the high pressure container, where the pressure in the low pressure container is 15-2000 atmospheric pressure, maintaining the constant pressure and allowing to stand for 2-6 hours, and filling the oxygen containing gas in the medium-high pressure container with oxygen to make the pressure level in the middle of 15-200 atmospheric pressure. USE - Method for improving performance of metal-air battery by using high pressure. Uses include but are not limited to lithium-ion battery, lead-acid battery, nickel-cadmium battery, lithium-phosphorus battery and lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The method: can effectively improve the solubility of oxygen in the electrolyte solution, so as to break the bottleneck of low-solubility and slow transport of oxygen, realizing large multiplying power of metal-air battery, long service life stable discharge. It does not need the noble metal and toxic chemical reagent, the battery manufacturing cost is low, the safety is higher, and it is suitable for large-scale production and application. The method does not use toxic material, the manufacturing cost of the battery is lower, the use safety is high, so it is especially suitable for mass production and applications.
